Bowling:First of all, to bowl any ball, your wrist and your arm has to be straight. For a fast ball, your point finger and your middle finger should be gripping the ball, in the same direction as the seam of the ball. SMART: The closer your fingers are to the seem, the faster the ball will go. For a spin ball, you can hold the ball in the same direction of the seam or cross seamed. You can spin in which ever way you like, by your fingers moving the ball the desired direction, with the help of your wrist tilting the desired way, and letting the ball go in that momentum. A bouncer requires you hold the ball however you like, close to the seam, and forcing your shoulder fast down while letting go.
Batting:
SMART: Playing the ball with a straight bat and driving, is the key to success in the game. You don't need to put your bat up for sixes, however then there are more chances of getting out. Also, a pull shot is very effective. A pull shot is when you hit the ball left or right, smacking the ball out of the way. A defensive play is when you step back, and block the ball with your bat straight. SMART: Be careful of the space between you and the crease because you don't want to be out as a hit wicket.
SMART: Don't tell others what they are doing or what to do, You see what you are doing.
